"Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us. "(Acts 16:16, italics added)It was while Paul and Silas were going to prayer when they were met with the distraction from the enemy. And it was after setting this young girl free from oppression that they were put in a difficult circumstance, beaten severely and imprisoned. "But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them" (Acts 16:25). Paul and Silas did not allow distractions and circumstances to get in the way of that which matters most, having communion with the Living God!

Circumstances! I was just feeling so discouraged with some circumstances in my life right now, and I was wondering why I can't do all the things I really want to do? And instead of praising God for all the other doors he had opened that day I sit here upset that I can't go to certain events. Not even thinking about allowing God to have control of my day, and giving the day into His hands...cuz in reality its not even my day. In every circumstance I want to praise God but it is difficult sometimes. I want to remember He is in control of my life and everything happens for a reason, to teach me and ultimately to glorify himself.
Abel!! The circumstances here in Honduras are NUTS! Supposedly, there is rumors of war, and people are freaking out. I think that God has put us here right on time though. People need hope, and we know the hope that they need.
CLAUDIA IS ALMOST HOME!!!
