Interesting Indeed!

If you were with us in our study in Revelation on Sunday, you may recall the words of John, "Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea..." (Revelation 13:1)

John received this vision while on the Island of Patmos, in the midst of the Mediterranean Sea, the beast that he saw and the empire that rose was out of the Mediterranean Sea...

I was sharing with a new freshman my favorite childhood comic "Calvin and Hobbes" when she said, "Calvin and who?" Please don't tell me I am so old that high schoolers have not heard of Calvin and Hobbes! Anyhow I found this one and thought it would be appropriate, seeing that High School Summer Camp is in a few weeks. Margo, this one is for you!

Beach Nites are Back!

Well, our annual youth pilgrimage to Oceanside Harbor Wednesday Nights for Church at the beach has officially begun! Every Wednesday Night during the month of July the Youth Ministry meets at the beach of a night of surf, games, fun, worship and teaching from the Word. We just started a study in the Gospel of Mark!
